Senior Front End developer

Our partner, one of the leading insurance companies in the Nordic region, is developing next-generation insurance systems. They work with more than 25 various in-house development projects across Baltic and Scandinavian countries, using the newest technologies, teamwork, and continuous knowledge sharing. Their IT Unit consists of around 800 IT specialists.

You will work on an award-winning self-service portal for the company’s customers around the world. Join their team as a senior front end developer and play a pivotal role in rebuilding their  UI to the next level.

Location: Riga, Latvia. A hybrid working environment

You are:

  • A problem-solver who can troubleshoot and debug issues on the user interface
  • A creative thinker who can create quality mockups and prototypes and write functional requirement documents and guides

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a front-end developer or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with markup languages like HTML (HTML5+, CSS3+) and JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Strong experience with multiple frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery, etc.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards
  • Experience with browser testing and debugging tools
  • An understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
  • Knowledge/experience in .NET technology and experience working with Design systems will be considered as an advantage

Tech stack you'll be working with React, Redux, .NET, EpiServer, MVC, JavaScript, CSS, MS SQL, Azure DevOps, Git, Azure
