Our partner is a company that offers engineering and manufacturing of biogas upgrading systems for anaerobic digesters and landfill projects. Evolving from compact gas treatment units, they now serve as comprehensive systems and plant providers, shaping the future of renewable energy by catering to the entire spectrum of gas generation and treatment needs.
Now, they are expanding their operations to Latvia. With the parent company based in Germany, the new Latvian entity will serve as a back office, supporting the company's growth and operations in the region. Currently, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to lead their Latvian operations.
As a Country Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up the company's administrative framework
- Opening bank accounts and managing financial transactions
- Collaborating with tax advisers to navigate the complexities of accounting
- Recruiting initial team members, including engineers and project managers
- Overseeing the overall management of the company
- Leading project management efforts
- Ensuring smooth operation and growth of the company
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
Requirements for the candidate:
- Degree in Engineering (a plus), Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong capability in setting up and managing business operations
- Knowledge of financial management and experience in handling company finances, especially in an international context
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on hiring and developing talent
- Proven track record in managing complex projects successfully
- Proven experience in a managerial role
- Proficiency in English
Nice to have:
- Experience in setting up or managing a start-up or new business division
- Russian language knowledge
